RED OAK ELEMENTARY
The vision of Red Oak Elementary is to be the model of academic excellence, invitational education, and high accountability for all. With their vision the Jessamine Board of Education tasked the design team to provide a storm-safe, energy-efficient and sustainable educational facility with a classic 1-story design with a masonry brick finish.
The design uses a 90-foot radius and smaller, tighter radius walls adding classic detailing. Included in the 69,000 square foot school is a high-efficiency geothermal heat pump system, super-insulated roof and energy-efficient lighting.
