Rebuild­ing the Ken­wood Ele­men­tary Gym­na­si­um helped heal the com­mu­ni­ty.

The objec­tive was to build a beau­ti­ful home on spec that was both ener­gy effi­cient and hur­ri­cane-resis­tant in a sought-after neigh­bor­hood in the Flori­da Pan­han­dle.

In order to max­i­mize the avail­able project foot­print and achieve the beau­ti­ful mediter­ranean-inspired look, the design required com­plex, tight-radius cor­ners and open­ings.

The Meskwa­ki Trav­el Plazais a full-ser­vice trav­el cen­ter includes a truck­ers’ lounge, con­ve­nience store, and 50’s themed din­er.

The vision of Red Oak Ele­men­tary is to be the mod­el of aca­d­e­m­ic excel­lence.

Fox Blocks con­tain a min­i­mum of 40% recy­cled con­tent by weight.

• Fox Blocks are an effi­cient con­struc­tion method there­by reduc­ing the amount of con­struc­tion waste, dust and air pol­lu­tion in the build­ing process.
• Build­ing with Fox Blocks will save on heat­ing and cool­ing costs because less air is exchanged between the out­side and inside of your home. This also means a small­er more effi­cient HVAC unit is required for the home.
• Fox Blocks are sus­tain­able. They will not rot or dete­ri­o­rate for the life of your home.
• Fox Blocks pro­vide a secure, durable, com­fort­able, long last­ing build­ing

The home­own­er want­ed to build a mul­ti­fam­i­ly high-per­for­mance home as part of the Detroit Revi­tal­iza­tion Pro­gram, an ini­tia­tive in the region that aims to sus­tain and grow neigh­bor­hoods.
