This design is now the new pro­to­type for future Clarksville-Mont­gomery Coun­ty ele­men­tary schools.

Under­stand­ing new build­ing codes is cru­cial for con­struc­tion pro­fes­sion­als and home­own­ers alike, espe­cial­ly with the increased fre­quen­cy and inten­si­ty of hur­ri­canes and tor­na­does.

The chal­lenge for this build was to cre­ate a home that would appeal to a sophis­ti­cat­ed buy­er with fea­tures that an emp­ty nester mov­ing from a larg­er more expan­sive home would enjoy. The result is an ener­gy effi­cient home which cre­ative­ly uses space in an attrac­tive, lux­u­ri­ous, and cost effec­tive way.

This build gave 30 high school stu­dents hands-on expe­ri­ence build­ing a home with Fox Blocks ICF from the ground up.
